Next week the Rheinhessen Agricultural Days will take place in Nieder-Olm. The starting signal for the interesting lecture and discussion program is already on Monday, 21.01.2019, at 14.00 hours, with the “Tag der Rheinhessischen Landfrauen”. The machinery exhibition will then start on Wednesday, 23.01.2019. Until Friday, 25.01.2019, more than 400 exhibitors will present their products and services in the field of viticulture and fruit growing. Robot Makers GmbH will again be represented with its own booth (C004) to present the latest developments in mobile automation in this area of application.
Automation solutions for viticulture: lane guidance, automation of implements, autonomous driving
In the past years Robot Makers GmbH has built up a complete technology portfolio for the realization of the future topics of viticulture and fruit growing. Automatic lane guidance, the automation of implements and autonomous driving play an outstanding role in this context. Robot Makers GmbH offers a suitable development platform for these key technologies. This allows proven machines to be equipped with the necessary intelligence. This makes it possible to implement assistance systems through to (semi) autonomous systems that relieve the operator of his daily work and at the same time increase safety and efficiency. At the booth of Robot Makers GmbH in tent C, the RowCropPilot will focus on autonomous driving in wine and fruit growing. This means that certain maintenance work can already be carried out today without the intervention of an operator. However, the RowCropPilot is also suitable for implementing predictive guidance for wine-growing tractors. This can significantly reduce the strain on the driver.
