On November 22 the time had come again: The “Zukunftspreis” of Palatine was assigned. It is a distinction that honors “outstanding innovative ideas, products, projects and achievements that strengthen the future perspective and the sustainable development of the region”. The award is assigned every two years and addresses projects in the field of life, natural and social sciences as well as in the humanities, technology and economy.
In this context the Robot Makers company stood up to the other candidates and was honoured with the “Zukunftspreis” 2015 which is endowed with a price money to the amount of 10.000€. Responsible for this was the new developed electronic series Modular Control System (MCS). This series allows the synchronous registration of multiple sensors with a high frequency. A typical application case is the product improvement through test benches.
Due to the high quality demands of modern products, complex tests during the development and the model maintenance are necessary, to eliminate quality defects at the outset. Therefore, corresponding measuring devices and test stands are needed. Depending on the application case, pressure, temperature, velocity, position, flow rate, air parameters, etc. should be recorded as synchronously as possible. Only by this synchronism we are able to enable reliable conclusions about the relation of individual parameters. At the same time a high frequency for the query of the measurements is needed to assume an exact reflection of the reality.
“The distinction of the Robot Makers GmbH with the renowned ‘Zukunftspreis’ of Palatine confirms, once again, the creative role and the innovative capacity of the company.”, states the manager Dr. Bernd-Helge Leroch.
The press gives an account of the award ceremony at various points. For an example you can read about it in articles of the “Rheinpfalz” and the “Bezirksverband Pfalz“.
