The “Innovation Award” of the state Rhineland-Palatinate has a tradition of 26 years. The award ceremony held in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce in Koblenz on December 03 of 2013 continues this tradition.
In the category “Innovative Services” the prize was awarded to the Robot Makers GmbH in Kaiserslautern for their platform-based engineering services model. Partial aspects of projects are mapped to modules of construction sets to reduce development effort and costs. Modules are reusable mechanics, electric building blocks, or software components. This approach was proven of value in numerous projects and is continuously refined.
